Les compos\u00e9s d&rsquo;aluminium constituent 8 % de ceux qui composent la cro\u00fbte terrestre, \u00e9tant le troisi\u00e8me \u00e9l\u00e9ment le plus r\u00e9pandu dans ladite cro\u00fbte et pr\u00e9sent dans la plupart des roches, de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation et des animaux.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L&rsquo;aluminium<\/strong> est extrait uniquement du min\u00e9ral appel\u00e9 bauxite par transformation en alumine, par le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 Bayer, dans un premier proc\u00e9d\u00e9 puis en aluminium m\u00e9tallique par le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9lectrolyse.
