ANODIZED
Anodizing is an electrochemical process consisting of creating a layer of aluminum oxide (Al2O3 – alumina) on the surface of the material through controlled electrolytic processes. Anodizing techniques have evolved considerably over the years, mainly influenced by competition in the sector. In this way, we find everything from a layer of oxide in the gray color characteristic of this oxide to other colorations applied after the formation of the layer such as gold, bronze, black and red.
The entire anodizing process carried out at the ALAS IBERIA facilities is controlled with the strictest quality standards, ensuring and rigorously complying with the European EURAS/EWAA (QUALANOD) regulations.
Greater resistance, durability and protection against corrosion.
The main characteristic of anodizing is to offer the best protection against corrosion, giving aluminum strength and durability. At ALAS IBERIA we have this excellent protection in our high-tech 45,000 amp line that is complemented by mechanical “grazing”, “polishing” and “shot blasting” treatments. We can thus offer a wide range of surface finishes and attractive colorations that range from traditional colors such as natural silver, gold, stainless steel, bronze, black or burgundy, to the latest generation colors obtained by interference such as blue, green or grey.
