ASSEMBLY

The assembly of profiles consists of joining the specifically designed aluminum profiles with intermediate polyamide rods to obtain the thermal bridge break and the consequent energy savings in their subsequent use.

At ALAS IBERIA we carry out the “knurling” and assembly of profiles on two fully automated, state-of-the-art lines, guaranteeing regularity in achieving the required pressure and shear resistance parameters according to European standards. Our assembly facilities are certified by the French organization CSTB, and we currently supply profiles with QB49 certification for various clients, according to their needs. Achievement of the required pressure and shear resistance parameters according to European standards for a 100mm long sample.

Energy savings and efficiency with thermal bridge break.

The thermal bridge is a heat leak, a “technical defect” in the building envelope through which heat losses or gains occur that logically imply a waste of the energy consumed to heat or cool the interior spaces. The Thermal Bridge Break (RPT), so well known, is a technological development in aluminum carpentry, by which the continuity in the heat escape route through the metal that makes up the carpentry is interrupted. To do this, it is enough to insert, between the two faces that form the thermal bridge, a bad conductor such as plastic, thereby literally breaking the temperature transmission zone, preventing the transfer of temperature from the outside to the inside of the home. .
